Please note: With interest rates constantly on the move at the moment, for exisiting/settled loans looking to urgently fix rates, we recommend going to your bank directly to organise this. It can take us a few business days to sort paperwork and negotiate your rate, but your local branch should be able to take care of this immediately.

If you are mid way through an application, the bank may have a rate lock fee to pay to guarantee the fixed rate you’ve applied for will be yours prior to settlement.

- no offset capabilities (except ANZ 1 year fixed or Adelaide Bank)
- if you want offset or redraw capabilities please make sure you also have a variable loan portion
- no redraw capabilities during the fixed period
- maximums on additional repayments
- potential break costs if you need to exit the loan prior to the fixed term ending
